Encore Azaleas, why are they called 'Encore' azaleas?

So why do they label these varieties of azaleas with the word 'Encore'? Most azaleas bloom once a year during springtime, but these varieties of azaleas bloom up to 3 times a year. These shrubs will produce additional *performances* of beautiful blooms for you spring, summer and fall.
And while most variety of azaleas thrive in shade, 'Encore' azaleas like 4 to 6 hours of full sun to produce those *showstopper* blooms.
